We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and preparation. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure it meets fine dining standards.
Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with food preparation and presentation.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in food service or fine dining settings.
Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
Familiarity with dietary restrictions and the ability to accommodate special requests is a plus.
A positive attitude and a passion for culinary arts are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
