Job Description:

Three Wine Company, a family-owned winery is looking for a part-time employee to join the tasting room staff. Ideal candidate is self-motivated and will be capable of articulating the winery message to the consumer, educating about our wines, and maintaining a fun, comfortable, professional, environment.

This part-time position requires weekends, and on occasion a Friday.

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Greet and serve guests in a friendly manner.
Call customers to update their account(s).
Educate guests on wines, vineyards, and the winery philosophy.
Build brand awareness and consumer loyalty and positively reflect the brand image at all times.
Provide and ensure responsible alcohol service.
Effectively promotes and sells wine and Wine Club memberships to customers.
Handle routine point-of-sale transactions.
Help with keeping wine stocked and the tasting room neat and orderly throughout the day and at beginning and end of shift.
Adhere to current health and safety regulations and requirements.
Ability to work in fast paced environment and keep busy during down time.

Qualifications:

A strong desire to work with the public.

Knowledge of wine is a plus; enthusiasm to develop knowledge of wine a requirement.

2 years of hospitality or sales experience.

Ability to maintain a friendly calm composure in a busy environment.

Solid computer skills and preferably POS experience as well.

Ability to properly input data.

Willingness to work weekends.

Must be 21 years or older.

Reliable transportation

Able to lift 55 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
