Tasting Room Attendant

Our company is looking for a Tasting Room Attendant to join our team supporting the Tasting Room clients under the supervision of the Operations Director.

Responsibilities:

Key facets:

Create a warm and memorable experience for the guests, building brand loyalty.
Represent the Singing Water brand, products, and services with passion and integrity always.
Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of Singing Water history, wines, and services.
Engage in energetic team learning environments.

Tasting Room

Greeting all visitors to the winery/tasting rooms and pouring wines for tasting and enjoyment.
Support back of the house team as needed with glass polishing and food preparation.
Effectively sell wine, retail merchandise, and wine club memberships to guests
Daily opening and closing responsibilities in the tasting room.
Provide general tourist information.
Handle routine sales transactions, account for daily sales.
Assist in maintaining appearance and cleanliness of all facilities.
Assist with display and stocking of retail items and wines.

Perform other duties as required including assisting other departments as needed.

Requirements:

Professional appearance and demeanor, personable, welcoming, with excellent hospitality and customer service focus.
Great oral communication skills.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Must be able to work weeknight events and weekends.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods as required by job duties.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and coordinate multiple tasks.
Must be 21 years old.

Education and Experience:

One year hospitality and/or tasting room experience is preferred.

Work Environment The tasting room is a non-smoking work environment.
Team members working in the tasting room are asked to not smoke during a workday or be free from any aroma that may be associated with smoking as well as remain free from heavily scented perfumes, hand lotions, or hair products so as to not interfere in the tasting of wines.
