Philip Carter Winery in Hume, VA, and Valley View Farm in Delaplane, VA is looking for a few tasting room educators to join our team. Our 2 locations are only 10 miles apart and staff is able to have shifts at both locations. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged. Positions are weekend hours and are somewhat seasonal.

Responsibilities

Operating the point of sales and selling products
Learning about PCW and VVF's Craft Beverages and history
Pouring tastings and educating customers about our business
Conducting winery tours (optional)
Providing excellent service to our customers
Doing your part of cleaning and keeping up appearances
Discussing and encouraging customers to join our wine club membership

Qualifications

21 and over
Excited about wine!
Weekend Availability (Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays)
Willingness to learn
Strong Work Ethic
Ability to lift at least 36 lbs
Can work at least 4 days a month

We will train you on everything you'll need to know. The hourly pay rate is $11/hr before tips!
