Meadowlark Farm Orchard & Cidery is an 80 acre pick your own orchard destination for Wichita KS and the surrounding area. Our fruit picking is seasonal but hard cider production and or sales is year round. At the farm we are investing in and promoting an upgraded tap room and patios to encourage more year round visiting for a drink of cider and unplugged games and conviviality.

While we cater to the interests and tastes of our customers providing fruit with cider blends and sweet or off- dry ciders, we really cherish the dry cider blends that can be produced from our apples. These ciders really evince a sense of the place that we farm. The wind and the heat and cold that shapes our trees and the fruit they produce can strongly emerge in our dry ciders. We love how our ciders can tell the story of our farm and we would want a cider maker ready to carry on and expand this story.

Our cider operation comprises about 30% of our orchard business. Customers visiting us to pick strawberries, peaches, apples and pumpkins from May to November enthusiastically enjoy our cider as a complement to the total experience of visiting our farm. Our most profitable cider pour occurs at the farm, so we want this is always increase. But we also bottle our cider and sell it locally directly to other retailers or to retail customers at Wichita liquor stores brewpubs and farmers markets.

Our farm welcomes every kind of person and they all encounter a place where they are welcomed and respected and - mostly - enjoyed.
