Position: Assistant Winemaker (Part-Time)

Location: McCauley Estate Winery – Brentwood, CA

Hours: Flexible part-time schedule (seasonal availability may vary)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in all phases of wine production, from crush to bottling
Operate and maintain winemaking equipment (e.g., crusher, press, pumps, tanks)
Perform cellar duties including racking, blending, sanitation, and barrel work
Monitor fermentation and assist with lab work as needed
Follow safety and sanitation protocols at all times

Qualifications:

Prior experience in winemaking or a production cellar strongly preferred
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying conditions (indoor/outdoor, warm/cold)
Working knowledge of winemaking equipment
Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 30 per week

Schedule:

4 hour shift
