The Bernardus Tasting Room, established nearly 20 years ago, offers a welcoming space for tasting and purchasing wines, complete with an outdoor patio, a private room for wine pairings, and a lounge. With the passing of Ben in 2019, the winery continues to thrive under the leadership of his business partner, Robert van der Wallen, who is committed to maintaining the legacy and quality of Bernardus wines.

Role Description

This is a part-time role, Friday's, Saturday's, Sunday's for a Tasting Room Associate at Bernardus Winery. The Tasting Room Associate will be responsible for guiding visitors through wine tastings, providing wine education, and assisting with wine sales. Daily tasks include maintaining the tasting room appearance, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing inventory. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create a memorable experience for guests.

Note: This is not a remote role and requires physical presence at the Bernardus Winery Tasting Room.

Qualifications

Wine Education and Wine Sales skills
Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
Customer Service experience
Knowledge of the wine industry and previous experience in a tasting room or similar setting is a plus
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Passion for wine and a willingness to learn
