Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support laboratory operations by performing a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of our research and development activities. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in conducting experiments and research projects under the supervision of senior laboratory staff.
Perform routine laboratory procedures, including sample preparation, data collection, and analysis.
Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and observations in accordance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and FDA regulations.
Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) during all laboratory activities.
Support quality control measures by conducting tests and ensuring that all materials meet required specifications.
Utilize laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data entry and management.
Collaborate with team members on various projects related to microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and animal physiology.
Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and organization within the lab environment.

Skills

Strong understanding of GLP and FDA regulations relevant to laboratory settings.
Familiarity with animal physiology and veterinary terminology is preferred.
Experience in quality control processes within an industrial or clinical laboratory environment.
Proficiency in microbiology techniques and analysis skills related to scientific research.
Knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment maintenance.
Ability to perform data collection accurately and efficiently for research & development purposes.
Solid math skills for calculations related to experiments and data analysis.
