December 10, 2025 - Radoux USA is proud to announce the addition of wine industry veteran Mark Evich to our sales team as Business Development Manager. Mark brings extensive experience to the role, having started his career in wine production in Sonoma County and Oregon’s Willamette Valley. For more than a decade, he has specialized in barrels and oak products, helping winemakers elevate their craft.
“I’m thrilled to join Radoux USA and look forward to partnering with winemakers to deliver exceptional oak solutions that enhance the art of winemaking,” said Mark Evich.
The Radoux group, based in the Cognac region of France, is a leading manufacturer of French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels, puncheons, oak tanks, and casks. Additionally, our portfolio includes Pronektar: American and French oak granulates, chips, blocks, barrel inserts, and tank staves—available in a range of toasts and tannin content for both wine and spirit brands.
It’s no secret that oak enriches aromatics, textures, flavors, and ageability in wine and spirits. To ensure we provide the highest quality oak, Radoux has strict protocols for optimum oak sourcing, natural aging, sorting by grain, toasting regimes, and finishing. Our most exciting and new innovative scanning technology—Oakscan—allows us to measure the amount of polyphenols in wood instantaneously. After years of trial and error, we have also released our Omega & Nexus barrels—crafted with proprietary seasonings designed to enhance roundness and volume while providing balance and tension through precision-focused tannins that are expressive, elegant, and finesse-driven.
The same strict protocols and Oakscan technology are also applied to our oak adjunct brand, Pronektar—a line of oak granulates, chips, blocks, barrel inserts, and tank staves, highly suited to elevating textural, color, and flavor components for spirit brands. Given our spiritual home in Cognac, spirits have always been a vital part of our identity.
Trees harvested from forests in the Centre and Northeast France, provide us with extremely tight-grain oak. The same choice of grain applies to Eastern European oak selections. Radoux’s American Oak barrels are sourced from the highest quality white oak from Missouri, Minnesota, and the Appalachian regions.
