POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the winery, restaurant, and grounds. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for conducting a variety of general maintenance duties around the property.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Maintenance of entire Messina Hof Estate Property
- Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with day to day maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Assist with maintenance of company equipment and machinery
- Ensure proper safety procedures are being followed and enforced
- HVAC duties as assigned
- Problem solve equipment and machinery malfunctions
- Maintain inventory records and accountability of records for tools, supplies, and equipment
- Assist with routine septic maintenance
- Assist stock levels on all backup, replacement parts, and equipment needed to facilitate seamless company operations
- Conduct weekly maintenance on vehicles and keep maintenance records on upkeep- includes, company vehicles, forklifts, vineyard truck, etc.
- Ability to maintain a departmental budget for all maintenance and repairs
- Responsible for controlling tools to prevent tool loss
- Responsible for tool check in and check out
- Assist with trellis and irrigation construction and maintenance as needed
- Maintain estate grounds and irrigation (waterfall garden, trees, landscaping, etc.)
- Assist with production tasks. Including crush/press, bottling wine movements, etc. and vineyard work as necessary
- Aid in the harvest process as necessary
- Assist in winery duties including but not limited to barrel work, bottling, sanitation of winery facility and equipment
- Vineyard duties as assigned and as time allows.
- Perform other duties as required including assisting other departments as needed
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Competency Statement(s)
- 2-3 years related experience in facilities maintenance or similar role
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Ability to operate and maintain a tractor
- Must be detail oriented
- HVAC certification preferred
