The Vineyard Home Center is looking to add a new team member to our award-winning design staff!
A Kitchen Designer for the Vineyard Home Center will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Meet with clients and contractors to discuss their kitchen design needs and preferences
- Educate clients about different product offerings
- Accurately measure and calculate dimensions for kitchen layouts
- Create functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen designs using 20/20 software
- Prepare and present design proposals and contracts to clients
- Coordinate with contractors and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during installation with composure and professionalism
- Generate sales of countertops, vanities, cabinet hardware, tile and flooring
- Maintain organized records of client projects, including design plans, contracts, and invoices
- Maintain an organized and pleasant showroom that will act as an asset to the company and aide in generating leads
The ideal candidate for this job possesses the following skills/qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required
- Kitchen design experience (preferred but not essential as training is provided)
- Experience in the construction industry (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in a customer service or retail sales role
- You are customer-focused and prepared to work in a fast-paced environment
- You have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with 20/20 Design or similar CAD software (preferred but not essential as training is provided)
- Has reliable transport and a valid driver’s license
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday thru Friday
- Hourly Position
- In-Office
