The Vineyard Home Center is looking to add a new team member to our award-winning design staff!

A Kitchen Designer for the Vineyard Home Center will be responsible for the following tasks:

Meet with clients and contractors to discuss their kitchen design needs and preferences
Educate clients about different product offerings
Accurately measure and calculate dimensions for kitchen layouts
Create functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen designs using 20/20 software
Prepare and present design proposals and contracts to clients
Coordinate with contractors and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
Address any issues or concerns that arise during installation with composure and professionalism
Generate sales of countertops, vanities, cabinet hardware, tile and flooring
Maintain organized records of client projects, including design plans, contracts, and invoices
Maintain an organized and pleasant showroom that will act as an asset to the company and aide in generating leads

The ideal candidate for this job possesses the following skills/qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required
Kitchen design experience (preferred but not essential as training is provided)
Experience in the construction industry (preferred but not essential)
Experience in a customer service or retail sales role
You are customer-focused and prepared to work in a fast-paced environment
You have excellent communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with 20/20 Design or similar CAD software (preferred but not essential as training is provided)
Has reliable transport and a valid driver’s license
